Creators Workshop Art School 20th Annual Student Exhibit

 

 

On April 3, 2001 the Creators Workshop Art School opened their doors at 1441 Ratzer Road, Wayne, the home of Preakness Baptist Church.

That I named my school "Creators Workshop" and it has its roots in a church, well, the irony is not lost on me! I am forever grateful to Pastor Jane Harlan and the board at PBC for having the confidence in my dream and renting me space in their church basement. I am also blessed to have a community of parents who not only have an appreciation of the value of art but also for fostering their child's creativity. I love my adult students as well and enjoy every minute we spend together trying to solve all the world's problems while trying to make art! And well, to all my young students over the years...they are responsible for me losing most of the hair on my head, while making everyday teaching a joy. They fill me with both confidence that our future is in good hands and envy that they are all more talented than me when I was their age! I invite you to join us at our school on Saturday April 17, 3-9 pm for an exhibit of some incredible art by artists of all ages.
